Terms for the Grantilo Education Updates text program from Grantilo: message types, frequency, STOP and HELP, carrier disclaimer, and privacy.
Quick summary: Program: Grantilo Education Updates. Message frequency varies (up to about 8 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
1. Program name and description
The text-message program is called Grantilo Education Updates (the "Program"). It is operated by Grantilo, a brand of The Nelson M Group LLC. If you opt in, we send recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you provided with confirmation of your request, general education grant and financial-aid information, related service messages, and (only if you separately agree) promotional messages.
Grantilo is not a government agency, school, or lender, and does not guarantee any grant, scholarship, aid, or savings.
2. How to opt in
You can join by completing the form on our Get Started or SMS Notifications page and checking one or both of the separate, unchecked consent boxes: (1) informational texts, and (2) promotional texts. We then send a welcome text. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to use the Services or to buy anything. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
3. Types of messages and examples
- Informational: confirmation of your request, general education grant and financial-aid information, follow-up reminders about your request, and service notices.
- Promotional: new guides, deadline reminders, tips on managing college costs, and Grantilo news (only if you opted in to promotional texts).

4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interests, location, and your requests. Most subscribers receive no more than about 8 messages per month. You may receive additional messages when you reply to us or request information.
5. Costs
The Program is free from Grantilo, but message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details.
6. How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message (you may also use STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT). We will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and send no further messages unless you opt in again. Replying STOP ends your enrollment in Grantilo Education Updates, which covers both informational and promotional texts if you opted in to both. You can also email us at [email protected].
7. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at [email protected] or 888-804-9145.
8. Opting back in
If you stopped messages and want to rejoin, reply START to a previous Grantilo message or complete the opt-in form again.

Carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier and your device's capabilities and coverage. Grantilo does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time. The Program is for U.S. numbers only.
